John S Park - Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand

John was born in Korea but grew up in Los Angeles from the age of 11. As a child he loved to observe and draw everything so much that his eyes would feel sore. Being a Korean-American and living in the diversity of Los Angeles helped him broaden his views and artistic style. He went to UCLA and double majored in Philosophy and in Visual Communication/Media Design where he did some incredibly meticulous work. Then realizing his true passion for film, he enrolled at the Art Center College of Design and henceforth became a director. John has made numerous test films and commercials, which everyone raved about, and this got him noticed by several Agencies and Korean producers. He has since worked on a significant amount of commercials and has won a lot of awards. His recent works garnered more than 17 medals in international festivals like Cannes Lion, The One Show, Spike Asia and Adfest. Currently based in Seoul, as founder and director for Addict Media Films, John works all over the world and has become one the significant new wave directors in Korea.
